When storing and carrying the
CompactFlash card, keep it in its
original case to ensure protection of
important data.
Avoid removing the CompactFlash
card from the insertion slot or
turning off the ON/STANDBY
button while the printer is accessing
the CompactFlash card. Otherwise,
data may be rendered unreadable.
• When using an SD Memory Card,
xD-Picture Card, or Smart Media
card, use a commercially available
CompactFlash card adaptor that is
compatible with the card. Insert the
card into the adaptor and then insert
it into the printer. For how to install
the card and adaptor, refer to the
operating instructions of the
CompactFlash card adaptor.
Avoid inserting or removing the
compact flash card or an SD Memory
Card, xD-Picture Card, or Smart
Media card into or out of the
CompactFlash card adaptor while
the CompactFlash card adaptor is
inserted in the printer. The data may
be rendered unreadable or erased.
