4) Nowplacethecleaningpap faceup in themulti-purposetray,inserting
it as far asit willgo withoutforcingit. Makesurethatthepaperguides
are alignedwiththepaper.
5) Pressthe [TEST] button.The printerwill feedthepaperandthe screen
displays“NOWCLEANING”.
6) Whencleaningis done,thescreenwilldisplay“CLEANINGDONE”for
one second.
8.4 CLEANINGTHE EXTERIOROF THE PRINTER
Beforecleaning,makesurethatthepowercord is removed.
Useonlywaterandneutraldetergentto removemarksandspotsfromthe
printer,then wipe the printerdry with a soft dry cloth. Use of any other
cleaningsolutionmaydarnagetheprinter.
The printer does not requirelubrication.Never attemptto lubricateany
internalorextemalpartsoftheprinter.Otherwise,lubricationmayaffectthe
operationof the printeranddamagetheprinter.
