Defining Character (9 Needle Printer)
Each downloaded character is defined in a matrix
field of 9 rows high and 12 columns wide.
It is only possible to use column 1 up to column 11.
Column 12 is the space between one character
and the next. Therefore it is always left blank by
automatically setting dots in column 12 to zero.
Also, only 8 of 9 dots in any one column can be
printed (see also “Descenders”).
Each column is defined by a single byte where
each row in that column corresponds to the LSB
(dec.1) and the top row to the MSB (dec.128).
