IP Address:
The IP Address is the Internet Protocol Address; a numeric address (such
as 10.37.238.100) that the domain name server translates into a domain
name. Each node on the IP network should have a unique IP address.
Subnet mask:
The subnet mask is a number used to identify a sub-network when multi-
ple networks share an IP address. For example 255.255.255.0
Default gateway:
This is a device used to forward IP packets to and form a remote destina-
tion.
Name Servers Page
Use Name Servers Page to view and edit DNS, Alt DNS, WINS and Alt
WINDS. Tap the icon, Settings, Advanced, Network Card, Network
Adapters, IEEE 802.11b WLAN Adapter, then Name Servers. You can
also launch by tapping Start, Settings, Connections, Connections,
Advanced, Network Card, Network Adapters, IEEE 802.11b WLAN
Adapter, then Name Servers.
Please check with your network administrator for these
connection settings.
