Installing the ARMC/3 module
Remote system management just got easier with the new ARMC/3
module. The module provides high performance KVM (keyboard-
video-mouse) redirection and features a dedicated NIC port for faster
network access.
To install the ARMC/3 module:
1 Perform the pre-installation instructions described on page 37.
2 Locate the IPMB_6 slot. If necessary, remove any boards or cables
that prevent access to it.
3 If necessary, open the holding clips of the IPMB_6 slot.
4 Remove the ARMC/3 module from its protective packaging,
handling it by the edges.
5 Install the ARMC/3 module.
(1) Align the module so that the notch on the IPMB_6 slot fits the
keyed edge of the module, then press the module at both
ends to seat it fully into the slot.
When the module is properly installed, the holding clips will
automatically lock in place.
(2) Secure the module with the one screw.
