1 C lic k on the HotIDE ic on ( ) on the Windows taskbar.
2 Select the stop operation.
A message appears to c onfirm the stop operation.
3 C lic k on OK.
4 Disc onnec t the EasyLink c ombo drive.
5 Tuck in the EasyLink combo drive cable connector into its storage
slot.
Note: If the c omputer is on, and you disc onnec t the EasyLink
c ombo drive without using the HotIDE stop func tion, the
c omputer will hang (stop operating normally). Connec t the
Ea syLink c ombo drive aga in to solve this prob lem. It is a dvisa ble
to follow the connect/disconnect procedures discussed above. If
the c omputer is off, you c an disc onnec t the EasyLink c ombo drive
at your c onvenienc e.
