Special considerations
Follow the sa me spe c ia l c onside ra tions a s whe n tra ve ling with the
computer. In addition, these tips are useful when traveling
interna tiona lly:
• When traveling in another c ountry, c heck that the loc al AC voltage
and the AC adapter power cord specifications are compatible. If
not, purc ha se a p owe r c ord tha t is c ompa tib le with the loc a l AC
voltage. Do not use converter kits sold for appliances to power
the c omputer.
• If you are using the modem, check if the modem and connector is
c ompa tible with the telec ommunic a tions system of the c ountry
you are traveling in.
