Peripheral
Onboard Parallel Port [Auto]
This field sets the address of the onboard parallel port connector. Available op-
tions: [Auto] [Disabled] [378] [278] [3BC]
Parallel Port Mode [ECP]
[Normal] allows normal-speed operation but in one direction only; [EPP] allows
bidirectional parallel port operation; [ECP] allows the parallel port to operate in
bidirectional DMA mode. NOTE: To make changes to this field, Onboard Paral-
lel Port can not be set to [Disabled]. Available options: [Normal] [ECP] [EPP]
EPP Version
This field allows you to select between EPP version 1.9 and 1.7. NOTE: To make
changes to this field, Parallel Port Mode must be set to [EPP].
Parallel Port DMA Channel / Parallel Port IRQ
Leave on default setting.
Onboard IDE [Both]
You can select to enable the primary IDE channel, secondary IDE channel, both, or
disable both channels. Available options: [Disabled] [Primary] [Secondary] [Both]
Onboard AC'97 Audio [Enabled]
This field allows you to enable or disable the onboard AC'97 audio feature. If you
want to use your own audio devices, you may set this to [Disabled].
Onboard MC'97 Modem [Disabled]
This field allows you to enable or disable the onboard AC'97 modem feature. If you
want to use your own modem devices, leave on the Setup default [Disabled].
Onboard Legacy Audio [Enabled]
Enable this field if you want to use legacy audio devices onboard. NOTE: To make
changes to the rest of the items, this field must be enabled.
Sound Blaster [Disabled]
Select [Enabled] for this field if you are using Sound Blaster™ sound card.
SB I/O Base Address / SB IRQ Select / SB DMA Select
These fields set the I/O address, IRQ, and DMA channel for the Sound Blaster™
sound card. NOTE: To access these fields, the Sound Blaster field must be en-
abled.
MPU-401 [Enabled]
Enable this field if you want to use a MIDI device onboard.
MPU-401 I/O Address [300h-303h]
This sets the I/O address for the onboard MIDI device. To access this field, the
MPU-401 field must be enabled.
Game Port (200h-207h) [Enabled]
Enable this field to use the game port.
