Powering on the ET10000A
This section lists important safety guidelines for the ET10000A power modules, and describes how to
safely apply power to the appliance.
Safety Guidelines
Review the following guidelines prior to powering up the ET10000A:
The ET10000A has two power supplies. We recommend that you connect the power cords to separate
live circuits to provide redundancy in the case of a power outage on one of the circuits.
When manually cycling the power, remove power on both circuits, wait five seconds, and then
reapply power on both circuits.
When equipped with DC power supplies, the ET10000A is intended for connection to DC mains. It
should be installed only in a restricted access location. Use only the following fuse type for each DC
power module input circuit:
250 Vac/125Vdc, 25A, Type=Slow Blow, Time Lag
