Loading Paper in the Paper Drawer
This section describes how to load paper in the paper drawer.
When loading paper, take care not to cut your hands on the edges of the
paper.

Grip the paper drawer handle, and pull it towards you until
the paper drawer comes to a stop.

Open a package of paper, and remove a stack of paper.
• If the paper is curled, uncurl it before placing it in the paper drawer. Failure to do
so may cause paper creases and/or a paper jam.
• 17 to 20 lb bond (64 to 80 g/m
2
) paper is acceptable.
• The paper drawer holds up to approximately 500 sheets of 20 lb bond (80 g/m
2
)
paper.
