With the print side (b) down, align the stack plus one sheet of plain
paper with the right guide (a), then insert into the cassette until it
stops.
When you insert the media, make sure that the trailing edge of the media is
located at the correct size mark on the tray.
z To prevent misfeeds, make sure that the paper is not over the right guide (a).
z The number of sheets that can be loaded in the tray for manual feed is different,
depending on the media type. Confirm before loading. (ÆP.2-5 )
z To ensure effective manual feed, load the number of sheets actually required, plus
one sheet. If the media runs out before the job completes, the printer will start to
feed from Cassette 1. When the print job is completed, remove any remaining
paper from the tray.
z When loading paper that is wider than the paper already loaded in cassette 1, you
must remove the previously loaded paper and move the cassette's width guide.
With the N1000, move the width guide to the LTR size position, and with the
N2000 move it to the A3+ size position. Not moving the guide may result in poor
medium supply.
z To print with legal paper loaded in the tray of the N1000, open the paper support
then insert and move the trailing edge of the paper to the correct mark on the paper
size scale.
