Understanding the Smart Credit Card
Internet Keyboard
The Smart Credit Card Internet Keyboard has the same features
as the standard keyboard with the addition of a Smart Credit
Card button 1 and a Smart Card terminal 2.
Note: The Smart Credit Card Internet Keyboard is classified as a high power
USB device. As with any high power USB device, this keyboard needs to be
connected directly to one of the USB ports on the front or back of your
computer. If an optional external USB hub is used, it must be a powered
external USB hub.
Using the Smart Credit Card Feature
1. To apply for a Smart Credit
Card or shop at enabled
e-merchants, press the
Smart Credit Card button
1. This button launches a
Web site with instructions on
obtaining your Smart Credit
Card.
2. When prompted, insert your
Smart Credit Card into the
Smart Card terminal with the
front of the card facing up 2.
3. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the transaction.
