Playing a DVD-ROM Movie
1. For the best performance, close all running programs
before inserting a DVD movie. Insert the DVD disc into
the DVD-ROM or DVD-R/RW drive. Playback begins
automatically.
2. If playback does not begin automatically, click the Start
button on the Windows desktop.
3. Point to All Programs, then point to Compaq WinDVD,
and then select WinDVD Player.
4. Click the Play 3 button to begin play.

DVD-R/RW

You can only play a DVD
movie from a DVD-ROM or
DVD-R/RW drive. When you
finish watching a movie,
store the DVD disc in its
protective case.
Tip
You can control the actions of
the DVD player (pause, rewind,
and so on) from the CD/DVD
control buttons on the keyboard.
