Instructs the modem to use DTMF tones when dialing. Dialed digits will be tone dialed until a P command
or dial modifier is received. Tone dial is the default setting.

*V1: Verbose form (OK for OK).

Select Extended Result Codes
Defines which result codes are to be used to identify the type of connection and protocol that resulted from
handshaking and negotiation.
*W0:CONNECT result code reports DTE speed.
W1:CONNECT result code reports DTE speed, plus the CARRIER, COMPRESSION and
PROTOCOL extended result codes.
W2:CONNECT result code reports DCE speed.

Select Result Codes/Call Progress Options
Enables the tone detection options used in the dialing process. As these functions are chosen, the modem
chip set’s result codes are also affected. This command is therefore frequently used to control the modem
chip set’s responses. The primary function of this control is to control the modem chip set’s call response
capabilities.
X0: Display CONNECT or 1 for all speeds.
X1: Display connect message according to ATW and AT\V, blind dial, ignore busy signal.
X2: Display connect message according to ATW and AT\V, wait for dial tone, ignore busy signal.
X3: Display connect message according to ATW and AT\V, blind dial, check for busy signal after
dialing.
*X4: Display connect message according to ATW and AT\V, wait for dial tone, check for busy signal
after dialing.
Result Codes:
OK Returned when
