6. Assign the IP address, the subnet mask, and the default
gateway. Be sure to give an IP address which does not conflict
with any other device on the network.
Note:
The default subnet mask is 255.255.255.0 and the default
gateway is 255.255.255.255.
If there is a server or a router which functions as a gateway,
enter the IP address of the server or router for the gateway
address. If there is no gateway, leave the default values.
7. Click the
SUBMIT
button and enter the password to update the
settings. The same password is required for EpsonNet
WinAssist, MacAssist, and WebAssist. See Password on
page 9-27 for more information on setting the password.
8. If the message Configuration change is complete! appears
on your screen, the update is complete. Do not exit the Web
browser and do not send the job to the printer until this
message appears. Then, follow the on-screen instructions to
reset the printer.
Note:
Since the new IP address becomes available after resetting the printer,
you need to restart EpsonNet WebAssist by entering the new IP address.
