PRELIMINARY
I/O controls
You must specify video, audio, or both when you are creating or viewing a
confi guration. This is done with the RGBHV button (
h
) and Audio (
i
) buttons.

RGBHV button and LED — The RGBHV button and LED have two primary
functions (•) and four secondary () functions:
Selects and deselects video for a confi guration that is being created or
viewed.
Lights green to indicate that video is available for confi guring or for
viewing.
With the Audio button, toggles the front panel lock on or off. See Locking
out the front panel (Executive mode) on page 3-32.
With the Audio button, commands the front panel system reset. See
Performing a system reset from the front panel on page 3-32.
Selects the RS-232 protocol for the RS-232/RS-422 port in Serial Port
Confi guration mode. See Selecting the RS-232/RS-422 protocol and baud rate
on page 3-33.
Indicates that the RS-232/RS-422 port is set to the RS-232 protocol in
Serial Port Confi guration mode. See Selecting the RS-232/RS-422 protocol and
baud rate on page 3-33.

Audio button and LED — The Audio button and LED have two primary
functions (•) and fi ve secondary () functions
Selects and deselects audio for a confi guration that is being created or
viewed.
Lights to indicate that audio is available for confi guration or viewing.
Selects the Audio mode, in which you can adjust the input audio level.

With the RGBHV button, toggles the front panel lock on or off.
