9.1 Installing an expansion card in riser cards
The server has three slots for PCIe expansion cards. These are integrated in
the system using riser cards (see positions (1) - (3) in figure 25). The individual
slots can be equipped as follows:
● Riser card #1: PCIe x8, standard and low-profile expansion cards
● Riser card #2: PCIe x8, only low-profile expansion cards
● Riser card #3: PCIe x4, internal, only for (low-profile) RAID controllers
