To set the Novell NetWare frame type
1 Press (select button) on the LCD control panel to enter the
menus.
2 Press (down arrow button) to highlight
CONFIGURE DEVICE,
and then press (select button).
3 Press (down arrow button) to highlight
I/O, and then press
(select button).
4 Press (down arrow button) to highlight
EIO X (where X = 1 or 2),
and then press (select button).
5 Press (down arrow button) to highlight
IPX/SPX, and then press
(select button).
6 Press (down arrow button) to highlight
FRAME TYPE, and then
press (select button).
7 Press (down arrow button) to highlight the desired frame type,
and then press (select button).
8 To return to the
READY state, press (pause/resume button).
Configuring TCP/IP parameters
You can use the LCD control panel to configure the following
TCP/IP parameters:
z Usage of BOOTP or DHCP for configuration parameters
z IP address (4 bytes)
z Subnet mask (4 bytes)
z Default gateway (4 bytes)
z Syslog server
z Idle TCP/IP connection timeout (in seconds)
