Grouping
The copies are automatically divided into stacks with each stack containing copies of the same
page. The following two types are available: shift grouping and crisscross grouping.
What is shift grouping?

The copier must be equipped with an Automatic Document Feeder and a Shifting Unit.

The grouped copy stacks are stacked in the same direc-
tion, but in a sawtooth manner by shifting the tray for each
stack.
What is crisscross grouping?
Important

The copier must be equipped with an Automatic Document Feeder, 16MB Memory for Copi-
er or 32MB Memory for Copier and Paper Feed Cabinet or Multiple Bypass Tray.

The grouped copy stacks are stacked in a crisscross
manner, one stack lengthwise on top of another stack
crosswise.

Note
To enable crisscross grouping, the copier must be loaded with paper of the same size, but
in two different directions.

Note
Crisscross grouping cannot be effected if a Shifting Unit is mounted.
