You can have Batch mode or SADF

❖ SADF Auto Reset
When you set one original at a time
in the document feeder, the Auto
Feed indicator lights for a selected
time after an original is fed, to
show is ready for another original.

❒ You can adjust this time from 3
seconds to 99, in 1 second incre-
ments.

❖ Rotate Sort: Auto Paper Continue
You can specify to continue copy-
ing when paper of the required ori-
entation has run out during rotate-
sorting. ⇒ p.35 “Rotate Sort”
Note
❒ If you select [No]:
• When paper of the required
orientation runs out, the ma-
chine stops copying and
prompts you to supply copy
paper. When you load paper,
the machine will continue
copying.
❒ If you select [Yes]:
• Copying continues using pa-
per of a different orientation.
The copy job will finish even
if you have left the machine.

❖ Auto Sort
You can have Sort mode selected
when the machine is turned on or
reset, or if the mode is cleared.

❖ Memory Full Auto Scan Restart
If memory becomes full while
scanning originals, the machine
can make copies of those already
scanned, and then automatically
resume scanning the remaining
originals.
You can enable or disable this
function.
Note
❒ If you select [No]:
• When memory becomes full,
the machine stops operation
allowing you to remove cop-
ies delivered to the output
tray.
❒ If you select [Yes]:
• You can leave the machine
unattended to make all the
copies, but the resulting pag-
es will not be sequentially or-
dered.

❖ Select Stapling Position (Top Left)
You can register a type of stapling
used frequently in the top left sta-
ple key on the initial display. You
can also change the registered
type.
