4.2.8. MAC Address Configuration
4.2.8.1 Static MAC Address
When you add a static MAC address, it remains in the switch's address table,
regardless of whether the device is physically connected to the switch. This saves
the switch from having to re-learn a device's MAC address after it has been
disconnected or powered-off from the network, and then reconnected at some time
later.
• Add static MAC address

1. In the MAC address box, enter the MAC address to and from which the port
should permanently forward traffic, regardless of the devices network state.
2. Press the Space key to select the Port Number
