Make sure that the AUTO ANSWER setting is set to
the desired mode (TAD/FAX or TEL/FAX mode)
where you want to record a greeting message (p. 67).

Recording your own greeting messages
The recording time is limited to 16 seconds for each message. Record your message within 12 seconds for
best performance.

You can choose either 16 seconds or 60 seconds of recording time for the TAD/FAX greeting message
(p. 88).
