Operation
Sleep Mode
Your DM225/DM300 is ENERGY STAR
®
Compliant. It automatically enters a low
power (“sleep”) mode after 10 minutes of inactivity. This saves energy costs and
helps preserve the environment. When the system enters the sleep mode, the
display goes blank and the LED switches from green to orange. Press any key to
wake the system. The system will revert to the normal preset settings and will
‘lock’ itself if the Meter Lock function is in use.
Ready Screen
Your meter is ready to use when you see a
display similar to this, with the ‘Ready to
Print’ prompt displayed.
This is the Ready Screen. The screen you
actually see may look slightly different,
depending on how your meter is set up.
Checking Funds Available
Press the Funds key to check the postage
funds available, the postage funds used
and the total number of mailpieces printed.
To print a record of this information,
including batch totals, place a spare
envelope on the feed deck. Guide it
towards the back of the meter and then to
the right. Press Enter (yes) to print the
following report:
