Uninstalling SANblade Control iX
To uninstall SANblade Control iX from Windows NT or Windows 2000, see
section 7.3.1. To uninstall SANblade Control iX from Red Hat Linux or Solaris
SPARC, see section 7.3.2.
7.3.1
Windows NT/Windows 2000
Follow these steps to uninstall the SANblade Control iX GUI for Windows NT/2000:
1. From the Start menu, point to Programs, point to QLogic Corporation, point
to SANblade Control iX, then click Uninstall SANblade Control iX.
2. After SANblade Control iX is removed, use the Explore window to delete the
directory C:\Program Files\QLogic Corporation\SANblade Control iX.

Red Hat Linux or Solaris SPARC
You can uninstall the SANblade Control iX GUI from the Home Directory or from
the command line.
From the Home Directory, click Home Directory, then select
opt/QLogic_Corporation/SANblade_Control_iX/SANblade/Uninstall_Data/
Uninstall_iscsi
From the Command line, type:
cd /opt/Q*/SAN*/Un*
Then run the program by typing:
./Uninstall_SANblade_Control_iX
The uninstall program does not usually remove the subdirectory
QLogic_Corporation. If you want to remove this directory (and everything
beneath it), type the following:
cd /opt
rm -rf * QLogic_Corporation

Getting Started
The following sections describe SANblade Control iX and provide instructions on
how to configure the QLA40xx HBA, configure targets, edit target and firmware
configuration parameters, and upgrade the firmware.
NOTE: You must configure the QLA40xx HBA (see section 7.6) before you can
configure targets, edit target and firmware configuration parameters, or
perform a firmware upgrade.
