Selecting sounds for the right hand
Do the following if you wish to assign a differ-
ent sound to your (right-hand) melody play-
ing:

son à la mélodie que vous jouez de la main
droite:
(1) Press the [TONE] button.
The arrow (√) jumps to the “TONE” entry.
You can now select Tones.
(2) Have a look at the TONE A/TONE B lists
on the right-hand side of front panel to
locate the Tone (sound) you need.
In this example, we will select the Tone “B41
Fantasia”.
(1) Appuyez sur le bouton [TONE].
La flèche (√) se déplace jusqu’en face de
“TONE”. Vous pouvez alors choisir des sons.
(2) Regardez les listes TONE A/TONE B sur le
côté droit du panneau avant afin de trou-
ver le son (“Tone”) recherché.
Pour cet exemple, nous choisirons le son
“B41 Fantasia”.
(3) Press the [A/B] button to select the Tone
group.
The “Kanoun” Tone belongs to the “TONE B”
group. You therefore need to press [A/B]
once or twice to make the display read “b”.
Note: This is only necessary if the currently
selected Tone belongs to the A group.
Note: The name (“Piano 2” in the illustration) still
refers to the previously selected Tone.
(3) Appuyez sur le bouton [A/B] pour choisir
le groupe Tone.
Le son “Kanoun” fait partie du groupe “TONE
B”. Appuyez donc une ou deux fois sur [A/B]
de sorte que l’écran indique “b”.
Remarque: Cette étape n’est nécessaire que si le
son en vigueur appartient au groupe A.
Remarque: Le nom (“Piano 2” dans l’illustration)
indique toujours le dernier son sélectionné.
(4) Press the numeric button [4] to select
bank “4”.
Note: The name (“Piano 2” in the illustration) still
refers to the previously selected Tone.
(4) Appuyez sur le bouton numérique [4]
pour choisir la banque “4”.
Remarque: Le nom (“Piano 2” dans l’illustration)
indique toujours le dernier son sélectionné.
(5) Press the numeric button [7] to select the
“Kanoun” Tone.
Notice how the Tone name in the display
changes. If you now play in the right half of
the keyboard, you will hear the “Kanoun”
Tone.
Note: See p. 42 for how to select Tone Variations.
Note: You can also press [TONE] repeatedly to
scroll through all available Tones (excluding the
Variations.)
(5) Appuyez sur le bouton numérique [7]
pour choisir le son “Kanoun”.
Notez comme le nom de son change à
l’écran. Jouez maintenant dans la moitié
droite du clavier: vous entendez le son
“Kanoun”.
Remarque: Pour savoir comment choisir les sons
de variation, voyez p. 42.
Remarque: Vous pouvez aussi appuyer plusieurs
fois sur [TONE] pour passer en revue tous les sons
disponibles (sauf les variations).
