Melody Intelligence (INT)
Melody Intelligence est une fonction qui ajoute une
deuxième voix (des notes d’harmonie) aux mélodies que
vous jouez de la main droite.
En fait, la fonction MELODY INT se base sur les deux moi-
tiés du clavier pour déterminer les notes à jouer:
Appuyez sur le bouton [MELODY INT] de sorte que l’icône
correspondante (voyez la dernière illustration à droite)
s’affiche à l’écran.
Changer le son MELODY INT
L’EM-15 OR assigne automatiquement un son (“Tone”) à
la voix d’harmonie. Cette voix est prise en charge par une
partie appelée UPPER 2.
Voici comment affecter un autre son à la partie UPPER 2:
(1) Appuyez sur le bouton [MELODY INT] et tenez-le
enfoncé jusqu’à ce que l’icône [UPPER2] se mette à cli-
gnoter.
(2) Gardez le bouton [MELODY INT] enfoncé tout en affec-
tant un autre son à la partie Upper 2 avec [A/B], [1]~[8]
et éventuellement avec [VARIATION].

(3) Relâchez le bouton [MELODY INT].
Elle examine les notes de la mélodie dans la moitié droite et…
Elle analyse les accords que vous jouez dans la moitié gauche
pour déterminer quelles notes elle doit ajouter à votre mélodie.
Melody Intelligence (INT)
The Melody Intelligence function adds a second voice
(harmony notes) to the melodies you play with your right
hand.
In fact, MELODY INT uses both halves of the keyboard to
determine which notes to play:
Press the [MELODY INT] button so that the corresponding
icon (see rightmost illustration) appears in the display.
Changing the MELODY INT Tone
The EM-15 OR automatically assigns a Tone (sound) to
the harmony voice. This voice is played by a part called
UPPER 2.
Here is how to assign a different Tone to UPPER 2:
(1) Press and hold the [MELODY INT] button until the
[UPPER2] icon starts flashing.
(2) Keep holding [MELODY INT] while using [A/B], [1]~[8]
and possibly also [VARIATION] to select another Tone
for the Upper 2 part.

(3) Release the [MELODY INT] button.
It looks at the melody notes in the right half; and…
It analyzes the chords you play in the left half to see which
notes it must add to your melody.
