Setting 31: DIAL SELECTION
If the dual line option has been installed, you can use this setting to
specify how each line will be used. Reception only, transmission only,
or free (both reception and transmission are allowed) can be selected.
Enter a number from
1
to
7
as follows:

Note:
The Dial Selection setting will only appear if your dealer has
installed the dual line option.
Note:
If you set a line to “reception only” and Rapid Key or Speed
Dial numbers exist that specify use of that line, INVALID LINE SET
IN RAPID/SPEED # will appear in the display. Press
1
to change the
line selections in the Rapid Key or Speed Dial numbers to “no
selection”, or press
2
to cancel the “reception only” selection for the
line.
Note:
A line cannot be set to “transmission only” if it is being used for
FAST remote maintenance by your dealer.
1 (L1=TX/RX, L2=TX/RX): Both lines free

(L1=TX/RX, L2=RX): Line 1 free, Line 2 reception only

(L1=TX/RX, L2=TX): Line 1 free, Line 2 transmission only

(L1=RX, L2=TX/RX): Line 1 reception only, Line 2 free
