Setting up a printer
If you have a printer, follow these steps to set it up for the first
time. You only need to set up the printer once.
1 Click Start, Printers and Faxes.
The Printers and Faxes window appears.
2 Click Add a Printer.

3 Follow the on-screen instructions to set up your printer.
TECHNICAL NOTE: Some printers require a specific installation
process. In this case, the Windows

XP Professional Add Printer
Wizard will display an error message. If this happens, refer to your
printer installation guide for further instructions.
