Installing the HDD
To install the HDD, follow the steps below and refer to figures 4-4 to 4-6.
CAUTION: Do not hold the HDD by its top and bottom flat surfaces. It may damage the
HDD.
1. Fit the aluminum cover to the HDD.
2. Seat the HDD in the bracket.
3. Secure the HDD to the HDD bracket with the following screws.
• M3×4 FLAT screw ×4
CAUTION: Do not apply pressure to the middle of the HDD pack. It may
damage the HDD bracket. Hold the HDD by its corners.
4. Hold the HDD pack by its corners and insert the “A” side of the HDD bracket into the
hole of the dent on the back of the computer first. Then lay the HDD pack in the dent
and slide it to the connector of the computer to connect. Press to ensure a firm
connection.
5. Seat the HDD cover and secure it with the following screw.
• M2.5×6 FLAT HEAD screw ×1
