6 Select the [Manual] button under the Type
Thick. heading. The example at the right
indicates that the current selections are Bond
and Light.
The [Manual Media Type/Thickness] screen will
display.
7 Select the appropriate buttons to define the
[Media Type] and the [Media Thickness], and
then select [Save].
8 Select [Close] when the [Media Settings] tab
redisplays.

Make any additional required settings on the [Basic Copy], [Image Quality], and [More
Features] tabs.
10 Enter the copy quantity (1 to 999), using the numeric keypad.
11 Open the manual feed tray and manually insert
the media, aligning the edges of the sheet with
the appropriate size indicators.
The machine will prefeed the media a short distance
after it detects the lead edge of the sheet and then
stop.
Note: If, after selecting [Sheet] as the [Media
Source], you scan the original before loading
the media, a [Media Mismatch] screen will
display. Follow the instructions on the screen to
complete the job successfully.
12 Scan the original.
After the original scans, the media will feed into the machine and the copy will be made.
13 Close the manual feed tray (bypass) when the copy job is completed.
