4 • 3 Clean the laminator only
Warning: This cleaning cycle must be performed prior to daily operation or when laminator has been in “stand-by”
mode due to high temperature within the laminator hot rollers.
Remove upper and lower laminate cassette.
Remove upper and lower laminate patches already
engaged.
Insert one Pre-Saturated Cleaning Card through slot on the side of the Card feeder Cover.
In the Cleaning Menu select “ Cleaning Laminator”. The card will feed into printer and carry out the
laminator cleaning process. repeat the process with a new Cleaning card if necessary.
Note: In the event of a patch or card jam in the laminator hot roller area, the lamination rollers stop and the
laminator temperature is automatically shut off. An error message will appear on the LCD.
You will have to remove the upper cassette, remove the top roller bracket, then remove the melted card or bad patch.
It is better to remove these types of errors when the laminator rollers are still warm. Be careful when touching hot
surface of laminator. Remove any debris that still remains.
