Configuring a Terminal to the SCM Console Port
This section describes how to configure a terminal connected to the SCM console
port. Initially, the terminal settings must match the CSS default settings as
specified in Table 2-5.
Fast Ethernet Module Connectors and LEDs
The FEM is available in two models:
• Model CSS8-IOM-8FE contains eight auto-sensing RJ-45 Fast Ethernet
10/100-Mbps 10BASE-T/100BASE-TX connectors
• Model CSS8-IOM-6/2FE contains six auto-sensing RJ-45 Fast Ethernet
10/100-Mbps 10BASE-T/100BASE-TX connectors and two 100BASE-FX
SC fiber connectors
