Fast Ethernet Module LEDs
The FEM front panel LEDs indicate module and network status. Table 2-6
describes the FEM LEDs.
Gigabit Ethernet Module Connectors and LEDs
The GEM is available in two models:
• Model CSS8-IOM-4GE/8 contains four Gigabit Interface Converter (GBIC)
slots and 8 MB Flow Cache SRAM memory supporting up to 64,000
simultaneous flows. CSS8-GBIC-SX is sold separately.
• Model CSS8-IOM-4GE/16 contains four GBIC slots and 16 MB Flow Cache
SRAM memory supporting up to 128,000 simultaneous flows.
CSS8-GBIC-SX is sold separately.
