Beginning in privileged EXEC mode, follow these steps to configure VRF-aware services for SNMP. For

Command Purpose
show ip arp vrf vrf-name Display the ARP table in the specified VRF.
Command Purpose
ping vrf vrf-name ip-host Display the ARP table in the specified VRF.

configure terminal Enter global configuration mode.

snmp-server trap authentication vrf Enable SNMP traps for packets on a VRF.

snmp-server engineID remote <host>
vrf <vpn instance> <engine-id string>
Configure a name for the remote SNMP engine on a switch.

snmp-server host <host> vrf <vpn
instance> traps <community>
Specify the recipient of an SNMP trap operation and specify the VRF
table to be used for sending SNMP traps.
