Attaching Hardware Devices
To install a new hardware device such as a printer or
USB device to your Notebook, complete the following steps:
1. Turn off your Notebook.
2. Connect the device to your Notebook according to
the instructions that come with it.
3. Turn on your Notebook and follow the instruction that came
with your device for installing any needed drivers.
You may be prompted to insert the Windows Installation CD
or diskettes. If this occurs, complete the following steps:
1. At the Add New Hardware Wizard, click Next to begin
installing the drivers and files necessary to make the new
hardware work.
2. Select Search for the best driver for your device
(Recommended) and click Next.
