D-Link DAP-3410 Network Router User Manual

27D-Link DAP-3410 User Manual
Section 3 - Conguration
Select Enable or Disable. Internet Group
Management Protocol allows the AP to
recognize IGMP queries and reports sent
between routers and an IGMP host (wireless
STA). When IGMP snooping is enabled, the AP
will forward multicast packets to an IGMP host
based on IGMP messages passing through the
A P.
Enable this option to reduce interference
from other wireless networks in your area. If
the channel width is operating at 40MHz and
there is another wireless network’s channel
overlapping and causing interference, the
router will automatically change to 20MHz.
Select Enable or Disable. This is an option for
load balancing, and determines whether to
limit the number of users accessing this device.
The exact number is entered in the User Limit
eld. If this function is enabled and the number
of users exceeds this value, the DAP-3410 will
not allow any additional clients to associate
with the AP.
Set the maximum amount of users that
are allowed access (1-64 users). To use this
feature, the Connection Limit above must be
enabled. For most networks, a limit of 10 is
recommended. The default setting is 20.
If this option is enabled, connected clients will
not be able to view or access each other.
