Select Character Table
Comments:
Selects the character table used by codes 128-255. Selecting Epson
Character Graphics does not disable italic printing. Italic printing can
still be selected by ESC 4. The following values can be used for
n:
0: Selects italics.
1: Selects Epson Character Graphics.
Duplicates the function of DIP switch 1-3. Note that the value of
n
must equal 00 hex or 01 hex.

Format:
Select Italic Mode
Comments:
Causes characters from the italic character set to be printed.
This command is valid even if the Epson Character Graphics set has
been selected by ESC t or the DIP switch 1-3, but character graphics
are not italicized.
ESC 5

Comments:
Cancels the mode selected by ESC 4.
