Press the Pause/Resume button to enter the adjustment menu. Press either button
accordingly to scroll backwards or forwards through the menu options. Note that
the asterisk (*) on the LCDÕs bottom line indicates where you are in the overall
menu. Once you find the menu option you would like to adjust, press both buttons
again to enter that option. The following describes each menu option and how each
is adjusted:
Image Darkness
-< 00 >+
This option sets the overall darkness of the printed image by increasing or
decreasing the amount of heat used by the Printhead when printing. To lighten the
printed image, press the On/Cancel button to enter a negative value and decrease
the amount of Printhead heat. To darken the image, press the Pause/Resume
button to enter a positive value and increase the amount of Printhead heat. For best
results, make slight adjustments of only ±4 so you do not accidentally over-adjust
the Printhead heat. If you set too high of a positive value, for example, the print
ribbon may jam or even break. The maximum adjustment range is ± 32.
Image Placement
-< 00 >+
This option allows you to adjust the lengthwise or horizontal position of the
printed image on a card so it appears centered. When adjusting this value, keep in
mind that cards always remain in the same position as they travel through the
printer. The following diagram represents how the printed image will move in
relation to the fixed card position as a positive or negative Image Placement value
is entered.
