7.1 Copy Session Stop
Check the Advanced Copy operation status using the "Backup status query command".
For details, refer to "8.5
Backup Status Query Command (stxvquery)" (page 59).
When a copy session is displayed, specify the -f option (stops all copy sessions including a suspended
copy session by error) in the "Batch Stop Command" to stop all backups.
For details, refer to "8.4
Batch Stop Command (stxvstopall)" (page 58).
7.2 VSSHP Uninstallation
When the "User Account Control" screen appears while performing uninstallation, select [Accept] to
continue the process.
■ For Windows Server 2008/Windows Server 2012
Procedure
1 Select [ETERNUS VSS Hardware Provider] from [Programs and Features], and click
the [Uninstall] button to execute the uninstallation.
For a Server Core environment, use the following command in the command prompt for the
uninstallation process.
2 Log files, etc. are left in the installation folder. Make sure to delete them manually.

When the following services are running, a window to confirm stopping the service is displayed. Click
the [OK] button to continue the uninstallation.
VSSHP stops and deletes the service at uninstallation.
