8.11 Shadow Copy Destination Recovery Command
(stxvrecoverydisk)
If a backup ends abnormally, the Shadow Copy destination disk may not be able to be checked via
[Disk Management] in the OS, resulting in the backup process being stopped. If this is the case, use
this command to make the Shadow Copy destination disk checkable via [Disk Management].
Execute this command on a backup server.
If a Hyper-V transportable copy is performed, execute this command on a production server and a
backup server.

• Do not execute this command while performing backup using VSSHP. Doing so may result in the
backup ending abnormally.
