Control Panel Messages

Lower 1-Main
Paper needs to be loaded in the first lower tray (500-sheet Paper Deck and
Cassette) and/or the main tray.
ACTION: The message on the bottom line of the Control Panel display advises
what size paper to load.
Lower 1-Lower 2
Paper needs to be loaded in either lower tray (500-sheet Paper Deck and Cassette).
ACTION: The message on the bottom line of the Control Panel display advises
what size paper to load.
Lower2 Tray Jam-
Open Lower2 Tray
Paper has jammed feeding from the second lower tray (500-sheet Paper Deck and
Cassette). The message alternates with:
Open Front Cover
Remove Jam Sheet
ACTION: Remove the second lower tray, open the front cover and pull out the
jammed paper. Then replace the lower tray and close the front cover.
See “Lower 2 Tray Jam” (page 6-28).
Lower 2 Empty
The second lower tray (500-sheet Paper Deck and Cassette) is empty.
ACTION: Reload the correct size paper.
Lower 2 Failure
Service Required
The second lower tray (500-sheet Paper Deck and Cassette) has failed. Printing
from this tray cannot continue.
ACTION: Power off the printer and check the Lower Tray connection. If the
failure continues, contact your dealer or Digital.
Lower 2 Out
The paper cassette has been removed (or is not pushed in all the way) from the
second lower tray (500-sheet Paper Deck and Cassette).
ACTION: Insert the paper cassette into the second lower tray.
Lower 2 Tray
Paper needs to be loaded in the second lower tray (500-sheet Paper Deck and Cassette).
ACTION: The message on the bottom line of the Control Panel display advises
what size paper to load.
Lower 2-Main
Paper needs to be loaded in the second lower tray (500-sheet Paper Deck and
Cassette) and/or the main tray.
ACTION: The message on the bottom line of the Control Panel display advises
what size paper to load.
