Vertical/Horizontal Zoom
Use the Vertical/Horizontal zoom mode to reduce or enlarge vertical and horizontal
dimensions, independently.

1 Touch ZOOM on the Basic Screen to display the popup menu for setting the zoom
ratio.
2 Touch Vert to select a vertical ratio.
3 Use the keypad on the popup menu to enter a 3-digit vertical zoom ratio, or use arrows to
scroll to the desired ratio.
4 Touch Horiz to select a horizontal ratio.
5 Use the keypad to enter a 3-digit horizontal zoom ratio, or use arrows to scroll to the
desired ratio.
6 Touch OK to complete the setting.
To cancel the setting, touch ZOOM again to display the popup menu. Specify the
desired ratios, then touch OK.
7 Position original(s) FACE DOWN on the platen glass or FACE UP in the document
feeder, as required.
8 When all settings are acceptable, press [START].
