Work with congurable 10 Gigabit ports
The two congurable 10 Gigabit XFP ports on the front panel are designated t1.1 (on the left) and t1.2 (on the right),
and the two on the rear panel are t2.1 (on the left) and t2.2 (on the right). They can be used in Network port lists and
Monitor port lists. The 10 Gigabit ports are congured for Network or Monitor as required by the lteraddcommands
you enter. Some examples follow. If separate lteraddcommands require different congurations for the same XFP
port, the port is congured as required for the command that was entered last.
To use both front-panel XFP ports as Network ports:
Enter 1. lteraddin_ports=t1.1ip_proto=6action=redirredir_ports=m.1. A lter has been dened to select all IPv4
TCP packets from 10 Gigabit Port 1.1 and copy them to Monitor Port 1.
Enter 2. lteraddin_ports=t1.1ip_proto=17action=redirredir_ports=m.2. A lter has been dened to select all IPv4
UDP packets from 10 Gigabit Port 1.1 and copy them to Monitor Port 2.
Enter 3. lteraddin_ports=t1.2action=redirredir_ports=m.3. A lter has (switch) been dened to copy all trafc
from10 Gigabit Port 1.2 to Monitor Port 3.
Enter 4. ltercommit. The lters are activated.

from the rst four 1 Gigabit Network Ports and copy the aggregated trafc to 10 Gigabit Port 1.1.
Enter 2. lteraddin_ports=n1.11action=redirredir_ports=t1.2. A lter (switch) has been dened to copy all the
trafc from 1 Gigabit Network Port 11 to 10 Gigabit Port 1.2.
