Using the BayStack 380 10/100/1000 Switch
Port interface
Ensure that the devices are connected using the appropriate crossover or
straight-through cable (see Appendix D, “Connectors and pin assignments,” on
page 201), or that autonegotiation is active.
Note: IEEE 1000BASE-TX requires full duplex mode operation with autonegotiation
enabled.
Note: Auto-MDI-X and auto-polarity both require that auto-negotiation be enabled.
