TO CHANGE THE NAME OF THE CORDLESS PHONE
1. Press the upper or lower part of the key
until the display shows:
HANDSET SETTINGS
2. Press function key F3:
The display shows:
HANDSET RINGER VOLUME
3. Press the upper or lower part of the key
until the display shows:
HANDSET NAME
4. Press function key F3:
5. Type in the name to be assigned to the cordless phone
(max. 10 characters), using the alphanumeric keys
on the keypad of the cordless phone. Function key F2
(
) may be used to switch from upper-case to
lower-case mode and vice versa. To delete an incorrect
character to the left of the cursor, press the
key.
6. To confirm the name of the cordless phone, press
function key F3:
7. To exit from programming mode, press function key
F1 twice:
TO CHANGE THE LANGUAGE ON THE CORDLESS PHONE
If desired, you can change the language of the
messages displayed on the cordless phone.
Remember, however, that if you do this, the language
will not be changed automatically on the fax
machine (you will therefore have different languages
set on the two devices).

TO TURN THE WARNING TONES ON/OFF
The cordless phone uses 3 types of warning tones,
which you may turn on or off, as you like: key tones,
the battery low warning tone and the cordless phone
out of range tone.
1. Press the upper or lower part of the key

5. To display the other available options, "LOW BATTERY
TONE" and "OUT OF RANGE TONE", press the

6. To turn the warning tone displayed on, press function
key F3:
The cordless phone returns automatically to the
message "WARNING TONES". To turn another
warning tone on/off, repeat the procedure from step
4.
7. To turn the warning tone displayed off, press function
key F1:
The cordless phone returns automatically to the
message "WARNING TONES". To turn another

8. To exit from programming mode, press function key

TO CHANGE THE PIN
The fax machine’s PIN is used to register cordless
phones and to change some sensitive parameters.
The PIN is made up of 4 digits, and the one set by
default is "0000". If desired, you can change the PIN
as follows:
