Flash Memory
The software that runs on the DRM-6NX is stored
in Flash Memory. This is a memory chip that, like
ordinary ROM memory, keeps its contents even
when the power is turned off. What makes it
unique is the possibility to erase its contents and
write new data to it. This means that when software
updates are available for your DRM-6NX, you may
update the software without having to replace any
parts. The new software is simply loaded into the
memory over the network.
Your Dealer
Contact your dealer to check if there has been any new
versions of the software. You should have your present
version numbers ready to compare against the latest
software issues from PIONEER.
