To display private records, proceed as follows:
1 In step 2 above, select Show Records.
If you have a password, the Show Records screen appears.
2 Enter the password and then tap OK.
Locking your CLIÉ handheld
You can lock your CLIÉ handheld with a password to protect information.
To lock your CLIÉ handheld, proceed as follows:
1 Back up the data on your CLIÉ handheld using a HotSync
®
transfer (see Using HotSync® operations
(page 74)).
2 Assign a password (see the previous section Assigning a password (page 65)
3 Tap the Home icon.
4 Select System from the drop-down list in the top right-hand corner.
The System screen appears.
5 Tap the Security icon.
The Security dialog box appears.
6 Tap Lock & Turn Off.
The System Lockout dialog box appears.
7 Tap Off & Lock.
Your device is turned off and locked.
To access your CLIÉ handheld again, you must enter your password.
