Chapter 4 Logical Printer Setup and Operation (6030/6050 only)
Media Source
This setting determines whether the media will automatically feed from a roll or
from the manual feed tray (cut sheet). The priority sequence when automatic
selection is specified is [Roll1], [Roll2], [Roll3], and [Roll4], in that order.
Settings
The settings for this function are as follows.
The optional (MSI) Multi Sheet Inserter/Manual Feed Unit is required for
manual feeding.
Menu Item Description
Media Source [AUTO] Automatically selects the appropriate media
from the feed trays.
[MANUAL] Feeds from the manual feed tray.
The default setting is [AUTO].
Priority [JOB] The paper tray command in the print data
takes priority.
[Controller] The setting made on the printer control panel
takes priority.
The default settings is [JOB].
