vsmedclass
qry
Queries for the attributes of a specified MediaClass group or all
MediaClass groups. The members of the MediaClass group and
any additionally requested information on each media is
returned to the client.

Parameters
Parameter Description
mediaclass Specifies a single MediaClass name to
request information on. Valid MediaClass
names may contain up to 16 alphanumeric
characters, including spaces. Leading and
trailing spaces are not permitted.
-a Requests information on all MediaClass
groups known to the VolServ system.
-m Requests a list of media identifiers for all
media associated with each reported
MediaClass group.
-v Requests detailed information for all media
associated with each reported MediaClass
group.
