Printer Jam or Paper Jam
Original Jam
The originals were not inserted or fed properly, or were too long.

Remove any paper that is not jammed from the ADF.

Open the top cover by lifting the lever on the right side of the top cover.

Pull the original toward the front of your fax machine.
4
Close the top cover.
Press down on both sides of the top cover until it clicks.
Paper Jam
The paper is jammed in your fax machine.

Remove any paper that is not jammed.
MACHINE ERROR

The fax machine has a mechanical problem. Call Brother Customer Service.

BUSY
The number you dialed does not answer or is

Verify the number and try again.
